Post from Pete’s
This post was entered on an iMac G5 computer at Pete’s house.
Why?
Because it’s there.
Anyway, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
Here’s Looking at You
This is a small gargoyle that lives on or near my desk, which he has done for several years now. He is approximately three inches tall including the plinth, cast from resin with a magnet embedded in his back. The image was created by scanning the gargoyle on a flatbed scanner with the cover open. The purpose of this post is to test several things discussed in the previous post and in the comments to that post.
Embedded Slideshow
This post is a test of a slideshow (made with a program called Porta), embedded in a post using <iframe></iframe> tags. It’s pretty cool, except there is an anchor at each of the thumbnails (put there so the thumbnail window can scroll automatically to the image being displayed) but, because of the anchor, the browser jumps to the thumbnails every time you change the image. I disabled the anchors so that doesn’t happen, but of course the thumbnails now don’t scroll. There’s got to be a way.
Sunday Morning
We are in Sue’s office. The sun is shining. Later we will ride bikes.
