  • The joints flex evenly and appropriately together throughout the turn.
  • Hips are centered over the feet.
  • Outside ski bends more than the inside ski.
  • Inside leg is bent more than outside, and may carry less weight.
  • Shoulders, hips, and hands are level.
  • Inside shoulder, hip, hand leads slightly through turn (more on steeps).
  • Hands are in front of body.
